Yeah, so literally about 4 days after starting this thread I went down to Ryan's (Mr. S') store and grabbed the fucker.

Sorry for the stock image, will take pics tomorrow in daylight.

After reading a few things about it (especially Stitch's thread) I just had to try one. I went down to the store armed with the money, but still not 100% on buying it until I saw/played it obviously, and holy shitting cunt-balls I was blown off my feet.

This thing really is one of the most toneful, "singing" guitars I've ever played, period. Forget the price range here. Even unplugged the notes just pop right out. I don't think I could have made a better choice.

There isn't a single complaint about this from head to tail. The controls are in a completely non-obstructive place (for me, anyway) the OFR is... well... an OFR, solid as a rock, and smooth. The fretwork is the real thing to note though, it's absolutely immaculate, beautifully dressed, and incredibly consistent.

I haven't restrung it yet, so it still has the stock 9's, but I can already tell I could get a stupidly low action with whatever gauge on this. It's already set up beautifully, and also a thing particularly of note - it's one of the most well-balanced guitars when playing standing up. It sits perfectly in playing position, all the time.

I err.. yeah... like it. More pics, and probably some clips, to follow tomorrow

    ** EDIT ** PICS!

Congrats! I've been thinking about buying a mahogany-bodied 25.5" with a Floyd and this is high on my list. I've been really impressed with the quality of PRS's SEs.
