LED strip that illuminates to show the time? That would be pretty damn sweet, and entirely possible.

The only thing that would concern me is that you took alcohol to your fretboard to get them to stick. Fretboards like to be moist, and there's a reason that we oil them, ya know?
Well, I'm not a moron : lol: I used little alcohol swabs on only the frets that got the stickers, then applied that red fretboard stuff that you guys were raving about on all the frets. Even the ones w/ the stickers

Red fretboard stuff?

You had to get the oil off of the frets to get the stickers to stick, no?

I basically did exactly as you have listed... but instead of a less sticky tape, such as masking tape, this stuff was medical tape!

Well, if it comes off and sucks, I won't bother w/ it again. Figured I'd take a chance since they're only stickers

Worth a shot. I wouldn't hate those as inlays, and people in the crowd won't be able to tell the difference anyway.

Yeah, that red liquid stuff they sell @ GC that several ppl on here have been raving about. Anyways, I merely wiped the surface. Its not liked I soaked it in rubbing alcohol
