Default Suggestions for a 6!

Hey guys, once I sell off the loomis/arc when the Vik arrives I'll have no guitar with a trem.

Obviously I still have a while so I'm not too sure what my budget would be, probably sub $600. I'll be buying used for sure too, so older out of production guitars aren't a problem.

Here is what I'm looking for:

-Good trem comparable to an OFR
-The flatter the radius, the better
- No mahogany body or neck
- No obnoxious inlays/binding (schecter)
- No McMaple fretboard, although I'd prefer a regular coloured maple board.
- No rosewood boards
- The brighter, the better
- If the pickup selector switch is closer to my right hand than the tone/vol..bonus points.
- Tone knob!
- Two hum
- Prefer passive pickups, not totally closed to the idea of EMG's.
- 6 strings
- RG/Soloist shape

I'm sure you guys get the idea.

That's quite a tall order, considering 80% of production guitars come with rosewood, plus most superstrats that aren't mahogany are either basswood or alder - Ibanez and Jackson being the two biggest users of those woods, neither of whom make production guitars with anything other than Rosewood

I actually can't think of anything. I would suggest my PRS Torero that I'm currently obsessed with, but it's a) Mahogany, b) has EMG's

Maybe BC Rich? Some of the Assassin models might fit the bill?

RG550/570/750/770 is quite close in that price-range I guess, but it does have a middle single-coil. Some Japanese Jackson Soloist Pros might be possible, but they usually go for higher prices these days. Other than that, unless you get really lucky and find a USA Jackson, Jackson Stars or ESP Horizon/M-series, I can't think of any others

Thanks, ill look into them, the middle single coil isnt a huge deal for me.

I was thinking 550 originally but I figure its hard finding one with a trem in good shape
