I was kinda anxious to try out the satin neck since i love the tung oil neck on my other carvin and hate gloss necks, but this satin almost feels like tung oil - so good! And the stainless steel are a must on any guitar and feel awesome on this. The fret leveling is, according to my good buddy Allen Hunter, very good, but not perfect. a few frets are a tiny bit high, but in no way a problem. The setup is very good out of the box, and this thing plays amazing!
On my first, unplugged strum i can feel how well this thing resonates, very impressed! I plugged it in my axe fx 2 and it sounded beastly! this thing sounds so good it took me 30 seconds to dial a great tone. I'll try to get a clip up on here in the next few days.
Very pleased, It both looks and feels great! It's so good in fact, I'm selling my other carvin to fund one more with pretty much the same specs as this one in Radiation green
Better and outdoor pictures will come when we get some sun
Outdoor Photos! No sun, but natural lighting really brings out the white in this!
Edit #2: soundclip! I couldn't figure out how to embed, so heres the link!
It's not tight, and i suck at recording so bare with me on this one
