Default Do you think Parkers are metal worthy?

I don't usually see them used for metal but wow do they ever have thin, fast necks.

I played a used Parker the other day that I am thinking about getting despite it having only 22 frets. 22 fret necks are kind of non-metal, but it has the best neck in its price point.

Yep. Plenty of metal bands have used them. They are solid, versatile guitars.

Too much focus leads to tunnel vision
Too much faith leads to religion
Too much knowledge leads to confusion
Too many guitar lessons lead to jazz-fusion

22-fret necks are non metal?

Tell that to Iron Maiden, Eddie Van Halen, James Hetfield, and any number of artists who've used modified and stock Strats, Les Pauls, and Explorers.

It's not about the guitar, so much as how you use it, how you play it, and what sort of tones you go for in the rest of your signal chain.

I say stick some EMG's in that RT250 of yours. That guitar will be metal as all hell with some new pups in.

Short answer... yes.

"The greatest power one may possess -- in any situation -- is simply not to care what happens.

"In fact, it's the only power, all others being a semblance and mockery of it. But you must also not care about possessing the power itself. So fuck it."

How often do you use 24 frets anyway?

I don't know much about pickups. Tell me more. I was thinking about doing the Phanton V8 mod.

It's an RT650
