    RG7420 Swirl

Just got my RG7420 back together. I had Ben Eller swirl it for me and he did an awesome job. Keith (ebay: hoockey) built me a massive brass block for the LoTRS 7. The Tremol-no barely fits that thing. The guitar unplugged is a lot louder and more alive sounding now especially with the thumbs screws tightened up.

Installed Crunchlab and Liquifire pickups and I'm curious to see how that turns out. Haven't plugged it in yet. Just got it together yesterday so I'm letting it acclimate a little bit before I set it up. Did run into one curious problem during rough setup. While setting the action a little bit of metal on the post rolled up like the plate was cutting into it. Can you adjust these bridges under tension? The plate had a little wear but I didn't see anything that would tear something up like it did.

Thanks Ben for making my old guitar new again. Here are some pics.

That looks killer, nice patterns on that mix and the colors are different

Cool, thanks. I wasn't sold on the color at first. But Ben and both of our significant others really liked it. They turned out to be right and my less than stellar camera skills don't begin to do it justice. Fingers crossed that Ben posts a picture of the sample because part of it looks like an eyeball.

I'm hoping the pickup choice works out. The Steve's Special in my JPM100 P4 is about to get swapped with a Tone Zone so hopefully these are a little more aggressive sounding.
