Default CQ's RG Swirl Build Thread

Just got these pics. Hell yes!

No budget right now for a custom neck, so it'll be something with a plain black Ibby headstock. Question is... Rosewood or Maple? I love maple boards, but I think (for once) Rosewood might look pretty awesome with this.

I think maple fretboard. Anything with orange in it needs maple.

I actually think a paler cut of rosewood with some decent grain would look really classy, especially with matching knobs and/or gold hardware.

Who even makes replacement necks now a days? I've been looking for someone.

But a nice shade of rosewood would be bitchin on that, maybe get an entire rosewood neck.

Musikraft do custom necks and they are really nice from what i've heard and are very customisable.

I'd get a pale rosewood, I think it'll balance out the colors.

Do you know what time it is? It's time to FARK SHEET ARRRRRP!!

That looks incredible, I love the orange. I'd go for a rosewood fretboard, won't look out of place with those colours.
