I've been trying to identify some of the qualities I like in a guitar and settled upon a few. I'm looking for something that isn't a LP or SG (or other traditional thick gibson-like thing) that is 24.75" scale, with angled neck and non-recessed TOM bridge. Does anything like that exist? I know Jackson has made some 24.75 scale guitars, but I'm fairly sure they didn't use a non-recessed TOM.
Basically, I did most of my formative guitar playing on a guitar with an angled-neck, so that's what really feels comfortable to me. My arms feel funny when my hand is flat against the body like with a hipshot or floyd bridge, and it feels weird with the neck is completely non-angled from the body.
You just described the Jackson Dominion. I have two and love 'em.
