Dave did, and I could still feel it grab when floating.

Nope, and I sold that guitar.

Anyway, I have enough guitars that I have fixed bridge and TOM guitars for rhythms and floating bridges for leads. There's no benefit to the T-No for me, since I don't ever want my lead guitars locked down, and the rhythm guitars (where a T-No could theoretically help) don't have trems.

I was never able to dial it in 100%, either. Maybe 90, 95% tops. I also almost never want it locked down while playing, so for me the best compromise has been to leave the claw in, but simply remove the receiver. Whenever I need to lock the bridge I can just reinstall it (a minute's work) and lock it down, and since I'm just blocking the trem I don't have to worry about alignment. When I'm done, I pop it back out.

Theoretically I could use it for rhythms or altered tunings, but in practice I usually grab my C7 for rhythm and don't play in altered tunings very much at all. So, really, I only use it when restringing or adjusting my intonation. It's nice to have available, just in case.
