My blue singlecut - which I bought back as to insure it never getting away again . Some days I think about the white PRS SE singlecut I sold to my friend though - I may try and get him to sell it back to me eventually.

At least with a lot of production guitars, there's a reasonable hope that you might find another one that has the same mojo. Letting go of something rare or unusual (which you didn't know at the time was so rare or unusual) really blows.

RG565

Sold this to Francesco so maybe I can get it back someday I wasn't playing it too much at the time, but I REALLY wish I still had it.

except sometimes you can never find one with quite the same mojo.

oh another one to add to the list - I had an Ibanez SA for a very brief period, it was only meant to be a stopgap while I was waiting for something else, but hot damn that thing was suh-weet. Really juicy fat rock tones, very versatile instrument indeed!

Came home to my basement flooded (badly). Insurance didn't help out as much as we'd like. Had to sell my Eric Johnson strat (among other gear I loved) to help pay for stuff.

So here I am with no amp, a Schecter Loomis, an RG550 and some "eh" other stuff.

My old transtrem steinberger that I traded to get a brand new RG7620 when they came out. I found a picture of it recently and just shook my head. STOOOOOPID.

The Yamaha Ty Tybor model in green that I sold to pay rent while I was in school. Pretty sure I'll never get another one of those.

I sold my Gibson Les Paul Studio to help pay for the wedding. I didn't really like the way it played too much, but it was my first real love as far as guitar goes, so I wish I still had it for pure sentimental reasons.
