How awesome can you make a white guitar look?
The next guitar I'm thinking about getting is available in white or black. It's going to be a fixed bridge shred machine with a scalloped neck (for me to attempt to shred on, of course).
I was originally thinking about getting the black one and putting fluorescent pickups/knobs on it, but before I decide I want to know if there is anything equally as awesome/gaudy that you can do with a white bodied guitar. I know looks don't really matter, but it's fun to have a guitar that stands out. |

Neon, multi-colour pickups can make any guitar gaudy.
 The other thing you can do with white guitars is pimp the whole thing out with gold hardware, gold pickups, gold pickguard, etc.    Gaudy, but classy! |

This white guitar has a black headstock.
Thoughts? So there's white on white. White with black pickups. I keep thinking white with blue might look cool. I don't think white with fluorescent yellow would look good, nor white with fluorescent pink. I don't think I've ever seen either of those before, either. There is no pick guard on the guitar I'm thinking about using, so the only colors will be the body, pickups, knobs and switch. White on white is pretty cool. Although I'm a huge fan of the Jem7VWH, I'm not really crazy about gold. That would also be more expensive cuz I'd have to get a gold bridge and possibly tuners. |

The Buckethead guitar may look like a Nintendo controller, but it looks much much better in person. And plays amazing.
