That is just fucking horrendous. I expect I'll get to try one today at UK Tech-Metal Fest, since Invictus have a stand there.. I just hope I can keep a straight face

This is really upsetting, as I've stuck up for him in the past when he's come under fire for copying other people's work, but this is terrible. I've known him since he very first started out, about 3-4 years ago, and he's always tried really hard to make this business work, and to know that he puts out stuff like this is, well, shit

Pics or it didn't happen

For shiggles, you should get a pic with one of his BM knockoffs, next to yours.... Give it the obligatory middle finger when everyone is out of sight, and post it in here

Does anyone know the actual story of this guitar?

I tried looking on the page where it was posted and all it says was it was made by the invictus guy before he was invictus. I checked out the invictus webpage and it certainly looks like his skills have improved a hell of a lot and i dont believe this guitar is anything recent. It's probably his first build or something.

I'm not a fan of him doing black machine copies.

If it was one of his earlier "beginner" guitars, everyones gotta start somewhere - maybe he gave it away? Maybe it wasn't sold? I agree it looks shite but I'd just like to know the background a bit before getting too carried away.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not supporting or sticking up for the person who built that thing - I just like to know all sides of a story. If it was one of his beginner guitars it's like picking on yngwie malmsteen for something he recorded when he was 5yo !

Ok, I've said my piece. Carry on

Very good point, man. The guitar itself is obviously utter junk, but if it was one of his earliest builds while he was just learning it's not THAT fair to slog off on the guy for it.

This is indeed a very good point. It would be a shame if his reputation and business are damaged if this guitar is unrepresentative of what he puts out now.

But its still Rhythm In Jump bad.

I love how that nonsensical stamp has become a way to quantify how poorly made something is
