I was at Guitar Center today looking for a Marshall Vintage Modern to try out (they only had JVMs, bleh) when this old Ibanez caught my eye. Being the Ibanez fanboi that I am, I decided to try it out. I was immediately blown away by how well the neck played! Since I'm a fan of HSS strats, it was perfect for me. I wasn't planning on buying anything since I already have a Carvin on the way, but I just couldn't pass it up for the price (sub $200 after tax) considering it played so well.
I can't wait to replace the pickups for some better ones (the stock ones aren't that bad though), and replace the strings with something that's a lower gauge.
I believe it's a black RS140, thought it doesn't actually say what model it is.

Just made a short video demoing it. I play clean stuff and distorted stuff later on. Nothing fancy. My playing is a little sloppy because I'm not used to anything but 9's and this guitar came with 11s.
Those old Roadstars were pretty solid.
I had a black RS II bass that served me well during and after college until it got stolen.
The Holdsworth and Lukather models are the ones to look out for.
