I know I started a V thread ages ago but I don't want a modern spiky V any more. I'm really attracted to classic V's now, Gibson-style, just preferably not a Gibson.
I want it to be a departure from my usual bag of tricks, so I'd like it to be passive, and non-floyd.
What's out there other than Gibson that has that same great classic shape and feel?
BTW; I'm not saying I won't get a Gibson, I just didn't want to spend that much money, that's all. It's not going to be my main guitar or anything, just something a bit different to have kickin around.
So far I'm liking the look and specs of the Epiphone Jeff Waters Annihilation. But what else is there?
The Jeff Waters Epi doesn't look like a "classic" V to me, beside the shape.
