Default Bridge for a Gibson Baldwin

I know nothing about these, a guy on another forum has one. It doesn't have adjustable saddles. (wtf?)

Any of you know if a standard TOM is a direct replacement for one of those?

STEWMAC.COM : Gotoh Tune-o-matic Bridge

^ Would one of those work?

Nope, a standard TOM won't fit. Have him measure the post spacing, and look for an intonatable wraparound bridge that matches the spacing.

Too much knowledge leads to confusion
Too many guitar lessons lead to jazz-fusion

Got an example, sans spacing?

Edit: This?

I've read that these Gotoh bridges are awesome if the spacing is correct.

Assuming that's standard Gibson spacing, from what I've seen I'd go with one of these:

Schroeder Adjustable Stoptail Bridge | www.schroederguitars.com

A few guys on a PRS forum I'm on swear by them. They say it has the same feel as a TOM bridge because of the type of saddles, so it's better for palm muting.

As soon as I've saved up I'll be getting one for my 245.

Now that i think of it, the Hipshot Baby Grand bridge might also fit.

Tone Pros makes a wrap around as well, just need to figure out the stud spacing to find out what will fit.

I play Suhrs, not poor people guitars. -Chris
