    Caught the Warmoth bug

I actually caught it years ago and have had a cart full on many occasions but Drew finally pushed me over the Edge. Trigger has been pulled

I am having a hell of a time deciding on pickups. I know I love the Duncan Custom but I have never heard it in this wood combo. Any suggestions would be very much appreciated. Something Mid to High gain. Not as over the top as the painkillers in my soloist. Something that splits nicely would be a bonus.

Here is what I have on the way so far.

The neck is coming unfinished. I will be giving it some oily love.
    10-16 Radius
    SS 6150 Frets
    Side dots only.

    Swamp Ash/Quilt Maple
    Recessed OFR
    Contoured Heel
    Natural masked binding
    Rear Route
    HxH Wood mount

    ...Now we wait.

I have a warmoth that I picked up on the cheap. Great woods, well made parts. That I got the neck and body for 150 squggles makes it one of the two best quality/price ratio guitars I've ever had (the other being an '89 RG560 I picked up for 100 squiggles).

You should be excited. They do very good work.

That is going to look pimp. I would like to get in on this, but i just put a deposit down on something else (less expensive). Between warmoth and carvin, I have GAS.
