    Tell me about Ruokangas guitars

Matias Kupiainen plays one. Look, it has those intonation frets:

I haven't much about them, except for that they might well be the damn best guitar you'll ever play.

They cost as much as a car, so would expect them to be about as good as it gets.

    i actually like the shape.
i hope the heel isn't huge,
if it isn't a 'bolt on' neck.

Meh reminds me of royal king stuff, a little flashy for me...I can't afford a car, let alone a guitar that costs the same as a car. Would be interested in more info, but meh.

I played the bolt on one with a maple top and cedar body. Terrible guitar. And i don't mean it wasn't worth the money. I meant even if it was cheap i wouldn't buy it. Note definition was clear, but in a clinical and sterile kind of way. Needless to say my friend sold it a month after getting it. Just not a very fun guitar to play, and it doesn't sound one bit inspiring. Also WAY too bright for my liking. Neck felt very wierd as well, like there wasn't enough beef at the sides to facilitate bends. Was about the same width as my modern, but my modern's neck was way more comfy in my hands. And the satin finish on the neck felt sticky and wasn't silky smooth. Wierd.
