    Other decent but not so well known brands to look out for?

    When cruising eBay etc...

    You know how like Tokai and Orville etc make really damn good LP's and what not, but not many people know about them because Gibson is shoved in there instead? Well, yeah... what other companies are like that?

    Specifically strats/teles/superstrats


    EDIT: I'm talking about bargains here, stuff that doesn't go for much because it's unheard of, but is surprisingly nice when you do get your hands on one.

    This isn't some underground brand or anything, but I'll take a G&L over a fender strat or tele any day.

    Yeah, G&L is pretty underrated for how great they are. Godin has some really, cool stuff, too, and is probably not as known outside of Canada.

    Yamaha has some screaming superstrats and set-necks that go for pennies. The Ty Tabor and Ty Tabor "drop 6" (RGXTT and RGXTTD6) in particular are pretty sex.
