    Gittler Guitar from 80's being resurrected in titanium

    I've always been fascinated with this minimalist pre-Steinberger stainless steel "skeleton" style design from the 80's. Not least of all because it came with multi-channel pickups

    It's a pretty obscure design and as far as I know it's only claim to fame is that it was used by Andy Summers in the video for The Police song 'Synchronicity II.'

    Well it's now being brought back to market in titanium form instead of steel and with LED fret markers and updated electronics.

    I believe the Museum of Modern Art in NYC has at least one of the originals in their collection. These have to be one of the most sought-after rare and unusual guitars from the 1980s. Very cool that they're being updated with even more exotic materials and features.
