I'm not sure how I feel about this design yet...

The GJ² Concorde™ takes its name from the jet aircraft, which Randy was fascinated by. The aircraft design served as the inspiration for the shape of the instrument that he and Grover Jackson teamed up to create in the early 1980s. Grover commented that he liked to think the 2012 GJ² Concorde model might be the custom guitar Randy would be playing today if he were still with us.
It's like the new Dimebag Darrell iPod. You know, the one he would be tweeting on today if he were still with us.

All of the GJ guitars are like, one or two bad design ideas away from being a good looking guitar.

The 'releasing a guitar like Randy Rhodes would've wanted nowadays' thing is incredibly distasteful.

Is this Fender's doing? I didn't think Jackson was "a company like that."

    Edit: wait, scratch that.

I don't believe Randy would be playing that today. From what I know before he died he wanted to go more in a classical music direction.

If he were still with us & playing electric, I doubt he would have stayed with that same shape all this time.
