    ESP M-II

This arrived earlier in the week.

It whips my Horizon FR in all areas. Duncans are Custom 5/'59 combo. Soon to be changing at least the bridge pickup to something a little more versatile, and adding a push/pull for coil splitting. Sustain and harmonics for days. It was a surprise, but I prefer this maple board to the polished ebony on my Horizon because of the reduced friction. It's apparently a one-off, but I'm sure there'd be other M-II's out there with a specs list extremely close to this one.

    Anyway, WOO!

Well sir, you've probably got yourself one of the very last M-IIs with a maple fretboard. I'd just like to say that holy balls, that color scheme is amazing.

I absolutely love it. That's pretty much my all-around desired guitar spec: figured maple top, 24 fret, 2 hum trem-equipped shred machine.

Killer, killer guitar you have there.

Thanks for the kind words, gents. I would have taken outdoor pics, but we're in the middle of an extreme heatwave, and going outside for any length of time would pretty much mean death. It's actually trans black, but it's one of those dark finishes which looks purple as hell in sunlight.
