Unfortunately the weather in the SF bay area sucks now - all grey and rainy; so the pictures kinda suck. Also, the flip-flop color is all but impossible to capture without really good light and lots of patience, I have little of both this morning, so good pics will have to wait until a sunny weekend
I'm not a particularly big fan of the tune-o-matic bridge in general. It turns out that a recessed ToM is quite a different beast. In fact it feels pretty damn good
For the other ToM haters out there, give a recessed ToM a chance.
I've only had the guitar long enough to play a the first two parts of a change of seasons and to gawk for a bit, so I'll hold off on any other comments until I've lived with it for a couple of days, but I'm deliriously happy with what I've seen so far
