    Dooky's Jackson Soloist SL1

    Hey Everybody!
I'm new to the forum. I've been lurking around for awhile and it seems like a great community!
Thought as my first post I might share with you my main guitar. It's my Jackson USA Soloist SL1. It's a 2001 model. I bought it the year after I finished school after lusting over one for many years prior. So when I got my first shitty job out of school I worked 6 days a week to save up for it and then when I placed the order it took 10 months to arrive (long story, basically the shop derped up the order).
    Anywho, here it is:

I absolutely love this guitar and will never sell it. But lately I have been considering replacing the bridge pick-up. I quite like the current Duncan JB, but have always been curious about a replacement. Any suggestions?

Welcome! Awesome guitar! And the JB being one of my personal favorites, I have no recommendations!

If you like the JB generally but feel like it could get clearer, more aggressive, and less honky, look into the Suhr Aldrich or the Bareknuckle Holy Diver.

If you like it generally and feel that it needs to be hotter and punchier, go for the SD Distortion.

If you want to go in a completely different tonal direction, check out the SD Custom for a more low-mid focus versus the upper-mid focus in the JB.
Too much focus leads to tunnel vision
Too much faith leads to religion
Too much knowledge leads to confusion
Too many guitar lessons lead to jazz-fusion
