I just got a new Sterling by MusicMan JP70 (will post a proper NGD thread with pics later) and it is an awesome guitar.
Apart from a tiny cosmetic flaw that does not bother me I noticed something else:
The back of the neck seems to have a little tiny 'bump' where it does not feel even all the way. It is barely visible and it is very slight, but I can feel it with my finger when I run it over the back of the neck.
It does not really affect playability though.
Would you guys return a guitar because of something like this?
Obviously, at this price point I may not expect the same craftsmanship as on a 'real' Musicman, so I am not sure what to do. I also should add that I'm quite OCD with my guitars, so tiny stuff usually bothers me .... that said, I have gotten better at this.
I'd appreciate some opinions!
Nah, I'd leave it.
