I *think* this is close to what I used to get. They've changed things around and now they call this a "jazz" version..
haven't ordered 'em yet, but the .011-.052 is pretty similar - can't find out if the g is still wound on this "jazz signiture" series =/ I like the old packaging better too...
anyway, can't find anything on that 7th string. The 7th string from the .011 pack is too floppy at .060 as what I've written so far lends itself to being dropped to A. Can't find any single's by Dean markley on juststrings but d'addario's got those nickel wounds and pure steel's that go to .070-.080 (.080!!!!!!!)
So...have any of you been dean markley nickel steel addicts that switched over to those d'addario XL nickel wound? I could just grab a .012-.054 set of those and then the seperate 7th string, but it says the 3rd is "plain" but doesn't that mean "not wound like the E and B string?"
Also, yea I'm poor so I'm trying to not buy tons of strings that end up in the trash if I can help it. thanks!
