I lowballed a buy it now or best offer auction of one of these simple beauties last week, and got her today! It's my first seven string, AND RG. I didn't really have a honeymoon period, and I'll get to why last.
Play/feel: Like an Ibanez should! Not on par with my prestige, but I think they're better than the 7321's that came with that obtrusive, and sharp bridge. Slim/wide neck, seemingly fatter on the bass side, flat bridge, smooth frets, no complains in the play department, I just need to break in the bare neck wood.
Sound: Based on the Schecter's I used to have, I found basswood to be really airy, and loose, but this is rather middy, and boomy, both in a good way. The pickups are as we all know Ibby stocks are so, I'm working on that. Small amount of buzzing, but I guess I have to get used to that.
Look/finish: It looks so... fucking... I don't even know. Classy, but sinister. The black/ white scheme they have going on is fucking bad ass.
Now... This is the second time in a month I've purchased a 'new' guitar that came with nicks and what not(that lite ash tele, poop). This had a smudge on the very tip of the headstock, and various tiny chips throughout. It also had dents in the rosewood, and the paint job was done really sloppy around the neck bolts, and around the cutaway. The thing is, for $360 shipped, I definitely got what I paid for, so as opposed to making four threads asking if I should send it back like the one guy on here (Kidding) I'm gonna keep it, and if anything ask the seller to discount me some pickups or strings. anyways, sorry for the essay aaaaaand cheap porn:
IDK why but I find it so fucking difficult to properly embed pictures so click 'em.
Also: RIP Jeff Hanneman, you'll forever live on through us, my metal friend.
Again, sloppy paint
Famery Shot. Drew, notice the S Neck pickup pocket. If you're sober enough to read, that is
