    NGD: LTD elite MII

I gotta say these new LTD elites are my perfect instrument. I am a brand loyalty player. I pick find a brand that I fall in love with and am obsessed with their instruments to the point where I dont really want to play anything but. Well my last brand of choice simply failed me too many times and I was looking for an instrument that fit my needs. I have always liked esp guitars but the models with the options I preferred were always a little steep for me. The ltd elite line has completely changed that for me. I have had a few standard series guitars (horizon NT7 and HRF) and both my LTD elites are identical in build quality. Im also very happy that the LTD elites with floyds have the 1000 series trem. Ive been having very bad luck with the German OFR models and find the 1000 series to be much more refined and consistent. My first LTD elite was the reindeer blue Horizon three. But It was very hard for me to decide between it and the M-II in the sunburst finish. Well one of my favorite dealers was having 3 years no interest financing so I had to go for it. Their pics are certainly better than mine. It showed up today and Im totally amazed. The neck is listed online as the thin U shape but I swear its thinner and flatter than my Horizon 3. I really think they used the ultra thin contour on this guitar. Even with the floyd these things are still pretty light. I love light guitars. They just feel better to me all around. Might have to swap the pickups with some X's but for now this thing is killer.

Very nice. ESP's branding strategy still mystifies me, but that's irrelevant to whether the guitar is any good or not.
