I need your opinions on Color(s)

    Hey all,

We are toying with the idea of getting a new run of custom Ibanez guitars built for Ishibashi. I can not go into too much detail just yet, but I would love your thoughts on colours. Here's the deal...

We will possible have 6 string & 7 string models made with a choice of....
Mahogany with Flame Maple tops or Ash!!
And a choice of Ebony or Maple fingerboards.

All Guitars will have a Trans Finish. What I want to know from you is, what Trans colour do you think would be cool on an Ibanez RG?

As we all know, some colours have been done to death. If you can, post photos of something you think would look cool in an Ibanez.

As much as I want to give you guys all of the answers, details and specifics now I can't. However, if you want to be kept in the loop when the time comes that I can reveal more, please email me on jason@ishibashi.co.jp with the subject "Ishibashi Custom Ibanez Guitars 2014". If Ibanez does agree to making exactly what I'm after it's going to be insanely cool. I've been playing only Ibanez for a long time so these are being requested by someone just like you lot.

    Thanks for your help.

Some Petrucci models have cool colors, that "lemon" and "orange" ones are awesome.
Textures are cool, I hate plain simple colors, testures like rusty, concrete, metal, burnt, cracked etc.

No help on colours as I'd say solid black, but I'd look at doing a reverse headstock, especially on the seven, it'd probably go over quite well. An Edge (original or lo-pro) and you should be good... Oh and no vine inlay... No need to ruin it.

    Purple burst with gold hardware.

    Or a blue-to-natural fade.

Blue or green are always nice.
