    Kahler fixed bridge?

I'm gonna order a brother to my Waghorn custom RR7 pretty soon, hopefully as early as next spring, and I was thinking about which bridge to go with. I know I want a fixed bridge and while a Hipshot would be an easy and a "safe" choice I'm weirdly aroused by the idea of a Kahler. The Jackson signature that Marty Friedman used to have looks soo cool with the (I guess now out of production model) Kahler plus the idea of having fine tuners on a fixed bridge sounds nice. But first of all I don't see a fixed bridge on the Kahler website, only a tremolo one that can be made into a fixed bridge (pretty easily though), and second how high maintenance would it be having the Kahler versus say a Hipshot? Am I just better off having a Hipsot or maybe a TOM type of bridge?

    Thanks for your help

Forgot to mention that this one's gonna be a 7 string guitar too...

Go with the Hipshot or a ToM, the Kahler might be fancy with the finetuners but IIRC the fixed model was expensive as fuck; also not sure if there's a 7string fixed Kahler

Edit: just double checked, there is no 7 production model of the Kahler bridge, special order only so $$$

their locking nuts are poop. Just beware of that beforehand. Get an OFR/licensed floyd locking nut instead, and just have the neck made with the correct neck taper and string spacing at the nut. I've been interested in those Kahler fixed bridges myself, with the fine tuners and all. Very interesting, and reminds me of the FX-Edge III bridge.

edit: Oh, and for the record I am all about the Hipshot hardware. Amazing stuff.
