    Caparison C2 Line

Found out today a local guitar shop is currently waiting on a few of these:

Caparison® Guitars: Electric Guitar and Basses. - C2 Series || NEW

Anyone heard much about them? Can't say I'm crazy about the finishes nor the Rosewood fretboard (opposed to ebony / maple found on regular series models) however they still look quite nice at half the price a regular series.

What's the scoop with the C2 stuff? Still made in Japan, but lower line I take it? I wish they made this in a more affordable package:

Yeah, MiJ still, but just a lot more affordable. One of the things they obviously changed were the inlays, which I'm guessing saved a few bucks. Also guessing they're probably use veneers instead of full maple tops and a ton of rosewood.
