    NGD: Officially!

Well, this arrived yesterday evening! Now I'm glad I cancelled the order I originally placed with MF and went with Sweetwater. The guitar arrived in pristine condition, and I didn't have to wait a month for it. I was worried it would have a nice gash in the pickguard, as you can see why from the picture (just above the volume knob). However, upon removing the protective film it proved to be a false alarm. I got it in tune and haven't put it down much since. The action seems to be perfect, and this thing completely slays my JS23. The maple neck and fretboard feels so much better to me. Now I just have to get used to this Edge II trem.

I had to use the pics from Sweetwater, since my webcam sucks. It's cool though, since they send you pics of the actual guitar you are getting. I checked the serial number just to be sure. They even sent me a small bag of candy.

Thanks guys! I'm glad to hear others have had good luck with these. My wife said she can hear a huge tone difference (for the better) between this one and my Jackson. This thing sounds metal as fuck even with the stock pickups.

I can however see that I will have to start a thread concerning the Edge-Zero II tremolo if I can't find the info I want.
