Can't believe this thing is like $200. Light, super resonant, a real player.
Floyd is waaaay better than I expected
Did I mention light?
Great setup finish and fret-wise
Pickups are shit. One wasn't even working right. Electronics, too. Cheapest of Chinese dogshit. I'm used to Dimarzio and EMG stuff.
Action was iffy
A little neck heavy. Probably move the back strap pin
Of course, I have already ordered like a grand of aftermarket shit. EMGs, Graphtech piezo, rosewood pickup rings and knobs and shit.
It's cool (but weird) fucking around with an extended scale. But so far, I dig! I can post pics when I'm all done with 'er.
I'm surprised, I expected the Douglass to play like crap. How's the build quality? I was looking at one a while ago as a cheapo first 7, but was put off by how low the price was lol
EDIT: I say expecting, what I really meant was
HOPING it would play like crap after I didn't buy one lol.
