Ive been working on this guitar for a while now. Got the neck and body from Perle guitars and they are good enough quality. The frets are not the best so im going to have stainless frets installed by a good friend. Once that ia done it will finally be time to pick a colour.
Choosing the duncan blackouts was maybe a bad choice as A LOT of material needed to be removed from the pickup cavities. They sound good though.
So originally I was going to do a neon orange with matching headstock but now I feel like annorange metal flake with matching hs. Or maybe that barolo purple that came on the petrucci jp12?
Opinions? Thanks guys.
That will be awesome. Go with purple.
Also, why didn't you just get the passive sized blackouts if you didn't want to route the pickup cavities even further? Being a passive sized active was one of the main reasons blackouts even existed to begin with.
