Another LP Thread: 2008 LP Classic 1960

    Hey all,

I've decided to flood with another LP thread. This actually worked out because I've owned this guitar since 2008 and never really took decent pics of it. I received this as a college graduation present from my now father in law, who was just my girlfriend's dad at the time. He's a drummer but he somehow had a good eye when it came to picking out a LP. Pretty sweet gift IMO.

The thin 60's profile neck plays like butter and the 496R neck/500T bridge pickups scream. It stays in tune ridiculously well and the body and neck binding gets me aroused. I'm pretty sure this is chambered since it doesn't weigh a metric ton like my old LP Studio that I've since sold. I love this thing and I doubt I could ever justify selling or trading it away.

Very, very nice. Exactly what a Les Paul should be for me.

Very very nice guitar. That's pretty much what I imagine in my head when I hear "Gibson Les Paul." Even though the LP I had for the longest time was black ("ebony"), I always think of cherry bursts when I think of LPs (my Epiphone Les Paul was a cherry burst, but it obviously doesn't count as a Gibson).

The red back on that is incredible. I want an LP studio just in that color. I love the plain top on it too, they are totally under appreciated.
Do you know what time it is? It's time to FARK SHEET ARRRRRP!!

For my hands the Classic the by far the best Les Paul model .... Wish I didn't have to sell mine a couple years back!
