    Keep or Sell Gibson RD

    Hey guys
Just received a 2010 reissue Gibson RD... Its All Mahogany unlike the 78 Maples ones. Don't laugh but its too nice!
I've never owned a guitar that looks this well made... I'm used to playing beaten up guitars or ones I've put together from Warmoth Parts...
I saw this one sale and pulled the trigger... late night web surfing...
Its sounds killer but I like the 25.5 scale better on my telecasters
The seller had already put Phat cat P90 Seymour Duncans... they sound so balls to the wall Rock, but I'm a stoner/metal style... and they sound so good it would be a shame to take them out...

I'm probably the only person on this forum that likes RDs

I wanted one of those when they came out as Japan-only (then later released elsewhere) but not when I found out they had the thick necks

I LOVE all of the weird Gibsons like the RD, the Moderne, the Marauder, the Corvus. I say keep it!

I'd rock one of them. Looks killer, and I believe your claims that it's a tone machine. Don't even remotely have the cash. I'd say keep it unless you need the money for something else. You may find it grows on you and inspires you to play different things, or you'll find a way that it works for what you already do.

i love rd's however, since you're so new, you're not going to post it for sale here. so... i've removed that chunk.

Cheers for the feedback.. I should give it a month or so play it and see how I feel then...
I have some Fastback Unshaven pickups being made up for this unit. Be a shame not to try them out first... thanks for the interest
(Prof SB I understand, wasn't my intention to post for sale here.. second opinions needed really )
