I just got his bad boy off Ebay from an authorized refurbisher, Nashville Guitar Store, and they got it straight from Schecter. It's apparently an unreleased prototype to what became the Banshee. It has a rosewood fretboard instead of ebony, quilted maple instead of flamed, and Schecter locking tuners instead of Grover. The tuners are actually pretty nice, they feel solid. The best part is that it was nearly half the price of a new Banshee active FR, but it's still brand new...and it's more unique.
Yeah... trems can be a pain!
