Back when I ran a small business dealing in secondhand music gear I obtained this Fernandes TEJ70 in a trade in. I kept it around when I moved into photography and decided to sell it later. After putting it on ebay, it sold. 3 times. The first person refused to pay the stated shipping cost which was less than what it was costing me to ship it. The second didn't heed my note on the listing for international orders to contact me for a quote. Shipping to Russia is painful as it has to be done with insurance and tracking and only courier. Then finally the third buyer paid and I shipped it to him. Only for him to lodge a 'not as described' claim with paypal. It was either damaged in transit or he dropped it and he threw out the packaging so I couldn't do a claim on the insurance.
2 months later paypal decided in his favour (i messed up during the arbitration so that was my bad) and gave him his money back and he sent me back the guitar. However it was sent back to me poorly packaged and damaged further in transit. Paypal retracted 80% of the refund and I got the guitar back.
I honestly contemplated finding the most brutal way to destroy this guitar and such but had a change of heart. Now it's getting a makeover and a bit of work put into it. The pickups sound awful and the neck isn't my kinda thing and also could do with a crown and polish so I'll be rerouting the bridge pickup for a humbucker and replacing the neck with something else. Maybe a Warmoth or Fender original.
You should probably slide the nut back over.
