I've been getting really into slide playing lately, so I bought a resonator a few weeks ago.
It's a Gretsch Boxcar. Nothing fancy, and definitely not expensive. I got the guitar and the case for £350. It sounds really good, intonation is a bit off on the low E but for the price it's fantastic. Playing slide is taking a LOT of getting used to though. I've got the action on this thing sky high, and I've been playing it flat across my lap. It's not even like a guitar, it's a different instrument altogether. I love it though.

Next step, get a proper tone bar 'cos these brass slides are shit.
