    G&L Rampage thoughts?

There's one for sale very local to me for a really good price. I understand they're not 'proper' G&L's inasmuch that they're imports and quite cheap, but does anybody have any experience with them?

My G&L Legacy Tribute is the best Strat I played under $1500 across three stores, and was only $300 used. All of the Tributes I've tried have been fantastic.

I can't speak for the guitars but man, the tribute basses I've played are fucking amazing for their price. Seriously some of the best gear from the near east I've ever come across. If that quality translates to their guitars gear then I'd say go for it.

The Tribute ASAT Junior II I played was awesome. I was shocked when I looked and saw the "Made in Indonesia" label.

    Works for Jerry Cantrell!

I don't know how different the specs are on his sigs from a standard Rampage model, but when I tried one I couldn't stand the neck heel/neck plate. Way too big and uncomfortable for me, but I'm used to an Ibanez AANJ, so YMMV.

I've been toying with getting a Rampage, as well. Haven't gotten around to pulling the trigger yet, though.

    G&L just do it!
The streets are extended gutters and the gutters are full of blood and when the drains finally scab over, all the vermin will drown. The accumulated filth of all their sex and murder will foam up about their waists and all the whores and politicians will look up and shout "Save us!"... and I'll look down and whisper "No. ― Alan Moore

Coincidentally listening to AIC right now.

If the price is right I say go for it.
