Just picked up this little beauty.
The Aristides guitars are very unique in that they are made almost entirely of Arium, which is a man-made material that seems to work wonderfully to create one piece bodies that sound like a fantastic wood guitar with lots of sustain!
In fact the only piece of wood on the guitar is the Ebony fretboard.
This one is unique in that it also has True Temperament frets which allow for actually perfect intonation across the fretboard. That is an absolute godsend in the studio. This guitar is very resonant and does have a lot of attack with no cost to the sustain, and has a lot of body. It is not thin or harsh sounding at all. The 6 string BKP Juggernaut set works beautifully with the guitar to get the notes to ring evenly across the fretboard and with the 5 way switch, it is incredibly versatily.
A lot of people ask about the TT Frets and if they are weird to play/bend. To answer it simply, if you weren't looking at the guitar you would have no idea that there was anything different about the frets, they only have a single effect and that is perfect intonation.
Specs on the guitar are:
One piece Arium Body
Deep Sky Blue Matte Finish on Body and Neck.
25.5 Inch Scale
20 Inch Radius
Luminlay Side Dots
Hipshot Locking Tuners
Dunlop Dual Design Straplocks
BKP Juggernaut set with Chrome Covers, Silver Hex Bolts and Laser Etched Logo.

I'm oddly attracted to these guitars. Like a '60s sci-fi version of a guitar from the future. Very cool, man.
