I hate making these sorts of threads usually, but there is a pretty clean looking one going cheap at the moment and its got me tempted - does anyone have any experience/thoughts on the RG450?
The one I'm looking at is Korean made so that apparently places it in the mid 90s, and if I'm correct it has a lo TRS ii trem. I've not heard good things about this trem - but if thats its only downside it might be worth a punt. I expect the pickups to be junk, so will change those out if its a keeper.
This particular one has a maple fretboard, and is in a tasty dark green colour

I would't considering for a few more dollars you could get an old 550/505/750/770/525/520/560/670/527 etc etc that is Japanese made and has a proper Edge derivative trem. I refused to play anything with a floyd style trem for almost 10 years due to how traumatised I was with my first guitar that had one which was an RG320 with a Lo-TRS. Never stayed in tune, locking screws all stripped out and the guitar was just dead from the poor quality of the bridge. It wasn't a good time for Ibanez Korean made stuff.
