PRS SE Standard models are back for 2015!

I loved these when they originally came out, but they were discontinued when the SE line got more fancy.

All-mahogany guitars at a lower price point than the maple-top varieties. Standard 22, 24 and 245 styles, trem and hardtail versions, in a variety of transparent and opaque finishes. All have carved tops and bird inlays. Interestingly, the Standard 24 has a blade switch, but the 22 and 245 keep the toggle.

    Sneak peek at the lineup:

It looks like they've only been announced in Europe so far. I expect the North American announcement will come closer to NAMM.

The Standard 22 or 245 in platinum:

I agree the 245 is hot in the platinum but the Custom 24 looks super hot in the Platinum finish.
I play Suhrs, not poor people guitars. -Chris

Yeah, that platinum Singlecut looks great. I bet it wipes the floor with most lower-end Gibsons too.

I'm really glad they kept the arched/beveled tops - the flat tops always just looked cheaper to me.

I dig this one a lot.

What's the difference between a standard and custom?
