New JEMs and a new Universe at Winter NAMM

Just got back in the office & saw I received an email from - talking about two new JEMs and a new Universe that will be showing at Winter NAMM 2015:

    • American Basswood Body
    • Maple Fretboard with Tree of Life Inlay
    • Jumbo Frets with Premium fret edge treatment

    • Edge-Zero II Tremolo bridge
    • Cosmo Black Hardware

    Ibanez UV71PWH
The second of the Ibanez Premium Universe series, featuring white cosmetic attributes.
    Official specs:
    • Wizard 7 5pc Maple/Walnut neck with KTS TITANIUM rods

Hopefully the pictures show up - I'm not too brilliant about this sort of thing.

The white Universes are the only Ibby 7 I never owned that I lusted after.
I hope these new ones actually have real jumbos on them and not the nubs for frets the originals had.

Fuck, my two 'unicorn' guitars were the green-dot and the PWH, then they had to go and 'one-two' punch me 2013 - 2014.

Oooh, nice! i always loved the BFP, especially when modded out with gold hardware. That PWH re-issue will make a lot of people happy. Is it a full square-heel re-issue, or is it an updated version?

Not sure why each of the Vai "reissues" all happen to have the Edge Zero bridges (without ZPS). They did it the green dot and now with these.

That said, the blue floral Jem does look nice. And adding the Gravity Storms is a nice touch.
