Guitar is literally as old as I am
I could pay cash pretty soon, or he's interested in a trade for my '93 Peavey 412MS that no one seems to want to buy, so I'm considering unloading it that way.
I'm thinking, for the price, if the neck and body are in good shape and I like the feel, it's worth it, even if I have to upgrade/replace a part or two.
My only concern is that his response to the cab trade offer was "Ok, bring it by, if it sounds good, deal", with no day, time, or address offered

I'd get it just for the fact it's easier to sell a guitar than it is a cab as you can at least ship a guitar and open up your potential market. It's what I do all the time. Besides, those early Prolines were some nice guitars.
