Forget if I posted this a while back, but I bought a $75 aircraft aluminum one and it was the wrong shape. Fucking pity. There are two common explorer pickguard shapes, and I don't know if the E2s are either. So I'm not willing to shell out again for a 197x reissue shape and have it be wrong again.
I briefly thought, "If I can't go with aluminum, I should go with steel" and contemplated making a pickguard exclusively out of razor blades, since I don't shave anymore and have a ton that say "Shark". But I dismissed the idea as too overdone. Maybe razor blade stencils in gold paint?
If you have the actual fuselage of a WWI dog fighting biplane and want to make me a pickguard out of it, needless to say, I'll take that.
Slightly corroded metal of any kind that you subsequently mail off to me that I may engrave into it scenes of glorious death in battle?
