NGD! Cherryburst PRS SE content inside...

Took the family on a trip to Portland over the weekend. After a long day at the zoo they wanted to crash at the hotel, so I ditched them and took a cruise around town. I stumbled into a local music shop and grabbed this off the wall to strum around a bit. I thought this was a new model and was expecting to see a $700 price tag. This thing was recently traded in and they wanted $339 for it, which included the custom gig bag. Sold! Plus, since it was in sales tax!

They didn't have any info on it, so I did a little research on my own. According to the serial number, it's a 2007 model. The finish is impeccable. No pick scrapes or belt rash, and very minimal fret wear. Every picture I found showed two zebra pickups, and this only has one. I've heard that the SE line has shitty pickups, but these seem more than adequate. The bridge especially is hot as fuck...I had to turn down the gain on my amp a bit to compensate. Maybe it was upgraded? I tend to prefer a warm, fuzzed out stonery tone, but this thing is naturally bright and crunchy. It will be a great alternative to my normal rig. I'm loving the PRS scale length and whatever fingerboard radius they use is super comfortable as well. Bends seem to be easier and I've noticed less fretboard finger-scraping noise also. I'm really digging it, especially since it was a "too good to be true" impulse buy. I'm still waiting for the whole thing to fall apart or something to go wrong to justify the low price...but I think I'm in the clear.
