    Great post!

In case anybody wonders, a quick Google says this is a five string guitar, prompting the question (for me, at least) 'why?'

They were baritones designed to be tuned to fifths. Always thought they were kind of neat.

Well I'm strictly a rythym player for most of my guitar work you could just take off my 2 hi strings, and I thought it would just be cool and different. The odd shaped ones are rare and the strat shaped ones are REALLY rare. Tuned in 5ths with the top string in A

And I have short fingers,I remember when they were selling these new I should have jumped on it

I have a 6 string tuned like one of these GDAEBF#. It rules for weird stuff If I was a rhythm player, this would let me have a lot more range but some riffs would definitely be a challenge on it.

6 strings is holy for guitar, 5 is almost as bad of an abomination as 7. Seriously, that thing looks hideous.

They came factory tuned CGDAE. I've always wanted one, too, since tuning in straight 5ths is kind of tedious on a 6er and impossible on a 7.
I play bass in a band called Weaponlord.

I also play bass in a band called Northern Crown.

I used to play bass in a band called Faethom.

    Wirelessly posted ()

I had one, it was pretty awesome. Kinda regret selling it but I never played it.
