Borrowing this from my guitar tech for live playing until my Elysian RG7621 arrives. I was previously playing an LTD H207 with a single volume knob and a BKP Blackhawk. Which is not a very versatile pickup, and the guitar has mismatched 'whatever we could find lying around' tuners, as well as a Tom, fuck toms. The tuners resulted in my Ab going exactly to a G on Friday during our set, so that guitar is done.
The 1527 is wired as a three way, volume only, volume knob is in the place of he tone knob and the original volume knob is disconnected. Stock pickups, which, are surprisingly good.
My tech did the finish himself, an oil/wax finish that feels fantastic, and a black indica stain on the back. The bevel was done with a pocket knife and some sanding playing this live last night helped my confidence and comfort and helped allow me to play a better show(in my mind, anyways) enough talking, pics.
