Because of the slumming GBP, prices from every single one of our suppliers have increased from 5-25% over the last three months. The RRP on an American Standard Strat in Black is now over £850. The new Roadworns are sitting at a street price of around £749 but RRP is something like £940, which is crazy. Even UK-built Orange stuff went up in price because of imported parts.
I find it hard to believe Fender USA Strats would go up much since most of it is UK sourced and your dollar is diving as hard as the £ is just now; certainly it doesn't seem to have affected Am.Std. prices much when you guys hit pretty low not so long ago.
