Original floyd (or Ping FR-1000, basically anything above FR-Special)
Passive pups (though it's easily reversible of course)
24 frets (with good access, more importantly!)
Construction doesn't really matter
Wood doesn't really matter
Not a Schecter
Preferably not an LTD since they're massively hit and miss but I'll consider it if it's the right model.
Not into 'extreme' shapes really, superstrats mainly, but I do like Kelly's and V's, so long as they've got good fret access.
Not a huge budget. Can't really exceed the £700 mark.
Not looking to buy new, second hand market ideally, so doesn't have to be a contemporary model, so long as it's not rare as hell!
Things I like about guitars I already own:
LOVE the neck on my Charvel san dimas, and the feel of it. It's just solid as a rock, never so much as been out of tune no matter how much I abuse the trem. Thick tone, lots of low end, but tight too.
Love the playability of the RG's.
So what doth thou suggest?
How much do Parker Flys go for over there? Bridge isn't a Floyd but it's solid anyways. Meets your other specs.
